ถ้าพูดถึง “ต้นกำเนิดไวน์” หลายคนอาจนึกถึงฝรั่งเศสหรืออิตาลี…แต่รู้ไหมว่า นักโบราณคดีค้นพบว่า
“จอร์เจีย” คือหนึ่งในแหล่งกำเนิดไวน์ที่เก่าแก่ที่สุดในโลก!

มีการพบไหดินเผาโบราณที่เรียกว่า “Qvevri” ซึ่งมีคราบกรดจากองุ่นและไวน์ติดอยู่ อายุเกือบ 8,000 ปี 

ชาวจอร์เจียในยุคนั้น ไม่ได้มีถังสแตนเลสหรือเครื่องจักรหรูๆ พวกเขาหมักไวน์ในไหดินขนาดใหญ่
แล้วฝังลงใต้ดินเพื่อควบคุมอุณหภูมิ และที่น่าทึ่งคือ…วิธีนี้ยังถูกใช้มาจนถึงปัจจุบัน!

ไวน์จาก Georgia จึงไม่ได้เป็นแค่เครื่องดื่มแต่มันคือ “ประวัติศาสตร์ที่ดื่มได้”

The ancient Georgians fermented wine in large clay jarsburied underground to keep the temperature stable.

And the amazing part? This traditional method is still used today!
